My beautiful BC boy has been gone since November 1, 2014.  I was lucky enough to have this incredible dog for 10 1/2 years.  He was better to me than my own kids.  Cancer got him.  Can't really tell all the stories about how smart the trick dog was.  He came in to our lives and stole our hearts away.  He left so suddenly.  There is a hole in my heart.  He was my boy.  I have seen him a few times in the trees on the north side of the place.  When he was here, I would always call to him that Mommy can't see you.  He'd run out long enough to make eye contact, then run back in to play.  I suppose I thought I saw him there because of this.  I know that his spirit is with God.  He saved my life.  Thanks for sharing all the stories of your special dogs.  It helps me know that there are others that understand.

Truly, their lives are way too short.  I'm very sorry for your loss.  Time heals, and at some point, you'll smile when you see him out of the corner of your eye in those trees.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Nice to hear he's coming back to say some final farewells.  Cherish those memories.

I've lost a few dogs over the years. Your heart dogs seem to hang around for a bit after they cross the bridge. I think they're making sure we're ok.
The hole in your heart will fill in with wonderful memories over time.
Till then, know we share your pain.
It is never easy.
So sorry for your loss.

Just having lost my two old girls last fall...I am so sorry for your loss. And yes, I do believe they stick around.

I am so sorry for your loss of such a special boy. I really felt like my old girl stayed close by for several weeks after I lost her in October. Maybe I just couldn't accept she was gone. I no longer half expect her to be waiting for me. But they are always with us in our hearts. Wishing you peace and happy memories.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's never easy. But your memories of their love will keep them with you always.

So sorry for your loss. They are never with us for long enough.

I'm so sorry. It is always so hard when we lose one so close to us. I hope that your good memories will comfort you. And I think it is very cool that you saw him a couple of times. Cherish that.......

So sorry for your loss. I know they say you were given a gift with such a special dog...but with that gift comes great sorrow when they leave us. I wish they stayed with us longer.
