Alchemist
I've not followed her closely, but I know that she was a powerful voice in the dog training/animal behavior community. I did enjoy her writings disabusing people about the "dominance"/"alpha dog" theories. My heart goes out to those close to her. http://www.veterinarypracticenews.com/Animal-Behaviorist-Sophia-Yin-Dies-at-48/
GentleLake
I heard about this yesterday and was very saddened by the news. I've been very impressed with everything of hers I've read. She was one of the best of the best. This is a great loss for troubled dogs everywhere.
Tess's Girl
I was able to attend a seminar she gave in May. She has been an inspiration to me in my love of dogs and my training career. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
rushdoggie
So sad and such a loss...she dedicated her life to helping animals experience less stress. Her writings are fantastic and she gave a lot of her ideas and resources away for free. It just shows you never know someone's internal struggle.
