Oh, Bill, I am so sorry to hear this! What a wonderful long run you had together.


I met you probably ten or more years ago at a trial in northern Virginia. You were so kind. I can't remember but I may have seen you run Boone. It would have been about 2004 or so?

I'm so sorry, Bill. Boone was a special boy. I'm glad I got to see you run him in his heyday. We'll continue to see his legacy in the children he has left behind. That'll do, Boone. That'll do.

I remember setting the novice field at Lacamas in 2008 with you and Boone. It was so hot and you really couldn't use a dog on those lambs, so Boone and my Lou dog lay beside the take pens, enjoying the shade. I imagine they were glad to see the people hoofing it back and forth on that hot day.  :D


Boone was a class dog, and I always enjoyed watching you run. Teamwork personified. My thoughts are with you and Susan.
