Carol Harper
Do border collie puppies at the age of about 6 months lose their teeth?
SassyDelighlah
I wouldnt worry. Twister was losing teeth at four months, and the vet says that its perfectly normal
katendarby
My pups would actually spit them out! I'd see their little mouths working around and they'd push them out with their tongues! It's baby teeth (milk teeth), just like children.
Guest rtphokie
Carol, They'll start to lose the front ones at 4 months and then it'll progress back to the back of the mouth. Should be finished by 6 months or so. They're losing baby teeth. You probably won't see that many lying around (although my foot has found a few molars on occassion!), as the pup usually swallows them. Just keep an eye on the pup's mouth daily (good time to get them used to handling) to make sure everything comes out OK. Laura
