Jeanne Joy
Isn't this generally one of the nicest times in Iceland?
Smalahundur
Oh yeah, no doubt about it. Best time of the year to visit. My remark was meant a bit humorous, we never have to be concerned about overheating. It hardly ever gets warmer than 20 degrees Celsius, even in the warmest time of the year here (fifteen degrees and over is described as "very hot" by the weather forecasters ), and water is available just about everywhere. Jeanne Joy
I figured as much. I pictured you writing it in your wool socks!
Jeanne Joy
During the energy and excitement of the holidays - don't forget your dogs. Keep in mind - "The calories in most commercial dog foods come from carbohydrates. In very cold weather, the dogs do better with a higher amount of fat calories, especially hard working stockdogs, so adjust accordingly. Fat for dogs is what carbohydrates are to humans: http://drsophiayin.com/blog/entry/cold-weather-safety-for-dogsinsights-from-a-sled-dog-veterinarian
