Juju Posted August 26, 2014 Report Share Posted August 26, 2014 Ive always used human zinc on my animals pink noses but have recently heard its too strong & not so safe for their skin. Wondering if people use something different that lasts, is safe and doesn't get licked off easily? Root Beer Posted August 26, 2014 Report Share Posted August 26, 2014 One summer Dean got terrible sunburn on his snout. I got this stuff and it seemed to work pretty well. I would spray a little on my fingers and rub it on the area that needed to be covered (since I didn't want to spray right at his nose). He didn't lick it - didn't like the taste. But then when I visit my aunt & uncle in Colorado (who are huge bearded collie fans), I would often giggle or be confused with the words they would use for everyday things.
