Once agani, very interesting pictures. Wonderful.

Don`t you loose points during the trial when the dog makes so much herding power to the sheep?

Yes, the sheep aren't supposed to be running like that generally. In fact, we were told that anytime the sheep made dust (i.e. broke into a run) that points would be falling off. And these sheep were Barb crosses, who are very light. It was quite challenging to get a walking fetch, as they were coming downhill and pulling strong to exhaust on one side of the field. Ditto the first leg of the drive, as the panel was about 20 feet from the exhaust pen, and the sheep really pulled that way. Again, very challenging to hold that line without stalling out, or having the sheep retreat to the post.

That photo above was taken at the pen, and the sheep were trying to make a break around the back, while the dog was trying to prevent it.
