Does anyone know anyone who might be able to help?

Dear Dog Lovers:

If anyone can provide a home to 2 adorable and housetrained Border Collies please let me know. Someone abandoned them at Bark Park in Broad Ripple and they will be sent to the shelter at the end of the week. Please contact me directly if you are interested.

Thanks for posting them, Vicki. Following Paula's excellent lead, I posted them to another BC rescue board to try to get the word out.

Does anyone know if these dogs are still looking for a home. The contact information is no longer correct.

I'm sure they are. I'll ask the person who contacted me.

Hi sent off an e-mail to my friend, who, BTW, might not even have been in touch with this person, but just forwarded the information on to me.

I did look up the company the woman works for and got a phone number. It's 317-634-6363. Maybe that will get someone through to her.

Did you try to call or e-mail her?

I sent an email to the address listed but apparently she is no longer employed there. I won't be able to try calling until later today but I'm guessing I'll get the same result. Let me know if you find out anything more. My husband and I lost our Border Collie in September to cancer and it's just not been the same without a BC in the house. We are in the Indy area so I thought it might be fate for these dogs to pop up.

She did mention they had until the end of the week before they were taken to a pound. You might want to start checking the pounds in the area.

They haven't shown up on Petfinder (I've been searching it daily) and I have a friend at the Indy Humane Society who I'm sure would contact us if they were to show up there. I'm going to keep my out for them though. They are cuties.

I live near this person. I tried contacting her several times in regards to the dogs. A friend of mine finally got a hold of her and was informed the dogs have been adopted. It's a fishy case, I'm skeptical, but I'm glad the dogs won't be subject to the shelter.

Thanks for the update. I sort of had the feeling that there were some pieces missing out of this puzzle picture, but I'm glad the dogs are safe, or so it appears.
