luv2napp
Annie was a very special Christmas gift for my oldest daughter in 1995. We lost our 10 year old daughter that year, and Nicole and Aaron lost their sister. Nicole was the ultimate cat lover, so we thought this would help her through her grieving. Annie was put under the tree and welcomed into our home with much love. She lived a long life, with many perils along the way, but always bounced back. She made the many, many moves with us and enjoyed her life to the fullest. On June 3rd, she used up her 9th life. She is now resting peacefully. We will miss you Annie girl!! BustopherJones
They will not go quietly, the cats who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still make us think we hear a meow at the door. Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them. . . and always will. - Linda Barnes Via con Dios, Annie. Alchemist
Ohhh... this story made me cry. I'm so sorry. Parents should never have to endure the loss of their children; it's not the natural way of things. Losing Annie now must be bringing back a lot of bittersweet memories. Go in peace, sweet kitty. Bless you for the healing you brought.
