ShoresDog
That video is a trailer for the full-length movie "Border Collie Sheepdogs Off-Duty" which is by the same folks who made "The Year of the Working Sheepdog" and the children's movie "Mist, The Tale of a Sheepdog Puppy." All are wonderful fun to watch.

WildFlower
Thanks for sharing! I have to rent the Mist movie and watch it - I have heard that it is really cute!
bc4ever
That was fun! Pretty good representation of a working BC. I can't imagine having all those Border Collies!
RuthBelle
One of my favorite Youtube videos (as well as the "Evolution of Dance" guy). Really like the part when the BC jumps on the gate and everyone starts running through the mud.
Ceredwyn
Love all three of those movies! I can put any one of them in the DVD player and entertain myself for hours. Year of the Working Sheepdog and Off Duty are great fun and "Mist" has a cute story, too. Very non-slick, non-Disney, shoestring budget stuff made straight from the heart. Ace
Aww that was soo cute! the dog at times 1:06 2:51 5:01 looks exactly like Rush, or Rush looks exactly like her, except for the other dog's markings are a little richer tan. I think I am going to ask for one of the videos for my birthday! That was so much fun to watch lol. Diane
lookback
That video is a trailer for the full-length movie "Border Collie Sheepdogs Off-Duty" which is by the same folks who made "The Year of the Working Sheepdog" and the children's movie "Mist, The Tale of a Sheepdog Puppy." Sorry - that's not correct! My partner Gillian and I make the DVD "Border Collie Sheepdogs - Off Duty!" David Kennard, a sheep farmer on the North Devon coast (UK) made "The Year of the Working Sheepdog" And the "Mist" Series. All are wonderful fun to watch. Thanks - that's good to hear! geonni banner
Ooh, ooh! BIG fun! Found and ordered it on line - they offer a region 1 version. Great choice of music in the You Tube trailer. Fun, fun fun! Got the DVD today - AWESOME! BTW it's not region 1, it's an all region disc. PS. I was watching this DVD for the second time today, and I looked down to see my BC Sugarfoot watching quite attentively. After a moment she went around to the other side of me and watched some more. Just then her friend arrived to take her to the dog park. When I came back to the movie, my cat Mugen was sitting on the desk giving a scene of puppies playing his undivided attention. Mugen doesn't watch TV EVER. He's a complete Luddite. After ten minutes he took off to watch a hummingbird through the back screen door. This family is unanimous. Five stars for Border Collie Sheepdogs Off Duty.
