Posted 11 March 2016 - 12:55 PM
We are pleased to welcome Tommy Wilson, originally from Scotland, and now residing in Gordonsville, VA. Among his many accomplishments, he has judged at the prestigious invitation-only Soldier Hollow Classic as well as being a gold and bronze winner there. His famous dog, Roy, is a member of the Border Collie Hall of Fame. Besides training some of the key working dogs in America, Tommy has a distinguished record which includes three National Nursery Championships, two Reserve National Championships, and championships at both Meeker and the Bluegrass Classic.
This will be a two-day clinic starting Saturday, June 11 and ending Sunday, June 12. You will not want to miss this great opportunity to work with one of the top sheepdog handlers around!
All levels of handlers and dogs welcome. We have a round pen, a small field, and a large field.
Each handler will have two slots per day. You can use those slots with the same dog or bring up to four different dogs. Auditors are welcome. A light lunch will be provided both days, and dinner will be provided Saturday evening.
Cost for two-day clinic $300
Please email us at email@example.com with information on how many dogs you wish to bring and the dogs level (so we will know how many dogs we have in the fields or round pen).
Registration will be accepted until the clinic is full. Cancellations after May 20, 2015 will be given a refund ONLY if someone fills your spot.
Campers/RVs are welcome. No hook-ups. Nice hotels approximately 30 miles away in Hereford, TX or Clovis, NM.
If you have any questions or need further information please feel free to contact Jill at 806-265-5448 by text or phone call or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Send checks to Tommy or Jill Hefner; 2405 CR 10; Friona, TX 79035.

I have been to 2 Tommy Wilson clinics. I learned a lot at each one - even though I was a pre-novice/novice handler. Have a good time!

Hmmm not sure if the timing is good for me either, but I really like Tommy and learned quite a bit at the clinic I attended. not only is he great he has a wonderful dry sense of humor!
Along the way it seems I have become a shepherd rather than a sheepdogger
