Dear Readers,

He writes:

" “First rule of shepherding: it’s not about you, it’s about the sheep and the land. Second rule: You can’t win sometimes. Third rule: shut up, and go and do the work.”

It's the best book I've read this year.

I just finished it last night (thanks, Priscilla!!!). It's a GREAT book - perhaps the best I've read all year! Not just a glimpse of a shepherd's life, but thought-provoking in more ways than I can articulate at the moment.
