My tribute to Lacee

It can be very relieving to do something like you have done. I sat down just the morning after Bute died, and wrote his "In Memoriam" here and included a few pictures that I selected out of our photos. While I cried throughtout that task, I found it so good to sit and remember him and his special ways, organize my thoughts, put them in writing, and just share him with anyone who wanted to read about him - but the important part was that I shared him one more time with myself.

They give us so much and leave us a heartload of memories!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful video of Lacee. I smiled at the "co-pilot" photo because I have had similar cross-country moves with border collie co-pilots supervising the relocation. I am glad that making the tribute helped you remember the many wonderful times you spent together.

What a beautiful tribute to such an amazing girl. A few of those pics really struck a cord with me.

It will take time to heal, but I hear it will happen.

Many hugs and prayers to you Diane! A beautiful tribute to such a beautiful, sweet-souled girlie. Fly free beautiful Angel Lacie

I actually saw both videos just fine too, the title just merely says unlisted. It doesn't mean it isn't there, Rushdoggie. It's just that the privacy keeps it from being Googled, I'm thinking....Diane, be sure to keep the video on YouTube....It will be fine there :)

I love the photos of her peeking over Daddy's shoulder "as copilot" and offering to help him open up his present, and with you, her Mama at the table. And what a graceful dog frisking alongside Danny and her playmates! I think the photos of her playing with her furry playmates and the kitty show what a Sweetheart she is too! And oh, of course my favorite photo of her at the very end!

Bless to Your Little Lacee Angel!

I don't know how you could do that. I can't even look at photos of Fergie without sobbing. Heck, I got teary for both Lacee and Fergie watching that.

It's beautiful.

Thank you all for taking time to watch. Yes, making it was very hard, there were a lot of tears, but it was something I felt I needed to do. I'm actually still in shock, not believing this actually happened. We always teased that she was going to live to be 20 because she was so healthy and everyone who saw her thought she was only 6 or 7. I keep asking "why". It's so unfair, she was the "one", never to be found again, no matter how hard I try.
