frisbeegirl
Has anyone read this series? It appears that the later 2 are $8 on amazon. Away to me Moss however is $357.00.
frisbeegirl
I am looking for a young lady. I think the books are a childrens series. Wouldn't hurt for me to read them.
Donald McCaig
Dear Readers, Betty competes at many NEBCA trials. Her books are available and she'd probably sign them. Donald McCaig
Hiker
I just bought /Look Back, Moss/ at the Vermont State Championship SDT in Quechee. Unfortunately everyone was rushing to leave because of a threatened thunderstorm, so I didn't get a chance to ask her to sign it. (But yeah, I was told she would've!) It's in the style of the YA novels I grew up on, the ones that were written by mostly Depression- and WWII-babies: IOW, it portrays difficult issues which it doesn't fully resolve, but it does end on a note of hope. In the case of /Look Back, Moss/, one of the issues it raises is that of "rescue" and animal rights extremism. It's a sensitive, even-handed treatment of the issue. I spent the evening reading it--by flashlight, in the Quechee State Park campground--and left the dishes to my poor SO. The camping dishes. And we were tenting. Muhahaha. IOW, it was very interesting! BTW--I've ordered used books from Amazon before (current price for /Away to Me, Moss/: $4). Generally they're fine. You don't have to buy it new! frisbeegirl
Thanks. I will check to see if she will be attending any trials in the area. She is in Lincoln Mass, I am not that far from there.
