How do I upload a picture

Hi! sorry to be a pest but I wanted to upload a picture of Addie on my profile and it says that the file is too big, even though it says that the image sizer will re-size the photo. I re-sized the photo in photo bucket but do not know how to get it on here. Thanks, Katie

PS I also see that trying to upload the photo as my signature did not work either.. Yikes.. I feel so computer stupid right now

You are not alone. I gave up weeks ago trying to do the same thing.

Well, I posed this problem to my 13 year old daughter and she loaded my photo for me. Wish I could say how, but I haven't a clue.

The code that forums and blogs typically use is different than the HTML code you are probably used to. Your best bet to include photos is to use the link in the post editor and copy an image link (not just the link to the page with an image on it: it will end with .jpg, .jpeg or .gif--that's how you'll know you have the right one. Your code should look something like this regardless of whether you're trying to put it in your signature or somewhere within a post. I hope this helps!

I use Photobucket and don't have issues. Plus it gives you the link option of email, website, forum etc.

Worked on this all day yesterday, It was a pain for me as well but I got it done.

Here is plain English.

1 On your first screen top right screen there is (profile/settings/my content/ ect. click on settings.

2That takes you to your options page on the left. Under your options you will see settings / profile / forums click on profile.

3 On the new page drop down to change Avatar. click on it.

4 Scroll to middle bottom of page and where you see Gravatar click that.

5That takes you to Gravatar site you have to join.

6 After you join click my account, in the drop down list there is( ad and image) click. That should get you going I think.

 

 

1Putting pictures in signature took me getting fickerphoto had to join as well.

2 Then I had to upload the photos from my pc.

3click on the photo, then right click and click copy

4 then go back to the signature page at BCB click insert image spot click it

5 then in the //http box. right click and click past the coppied /http URL

. If that isn't clear enough message me and I will try to help you further with It . I had to do that for each picture. I imagine there was a way to group them at once. I did use the small image and it grouped but I had to individually insert them that is the group I was talking about. I am not real pc literate.

I kept minimizing my BCB window and gavatar and fickerphoto back and forth to go between them quickly.
