Tea
Well done article! And I so much enjoyed the fact you included blade shearing. I am an avid pro blade shearer and really enjoy it over my machine.
Tea
our ag program teaches shearing and helps young local shearers get started. Recently we did a trial flock near the Island. These young people need work, and they are local boys. Some pics Dallas doing feet And Nich shearing with his overhead machine. I blade sheared a few- But mostly left them to Nich, as he is trying to get numbers under his belt, until he had problems on the Calif Reds. My friend got some pics but I haven't seen them yet. I am doing quite a few demos this year! What happened to my pics?
Jeanne Joy
Hi Tea, Thank you. Yes, blade shearing is really beautiful to watch. I love the feel of the wool grease too. You might also enjoy Greg Newbold illustrations (though machine) based on his experiences while growing up on his family's homestead: http://gregnewbold.b...unburdened.html http://gregnewbold.b...thumbnails.html All the best, Jeanne P. S. Maybe you can re-post your pictures. Would love to see them.

Tea
Very nice video, she is good. But I bet she has the same problem as I do with a big suffock ram. You have to be able to bend over and reach the hind end.
