Kiran went to another trial today - not sure if I'm taking him back tomorrow, but that's just because the weather's supposed to be terrible and it's really hard to crate all 3 dogs out of my car.   So much good stuff there that I'm so exceedingly proud of.

1-)  There were a couple of little kids there (2 and 3 years old maybe).  Kiran loves kids.  Kids are his favorite thing ever, and that's saying something.  He was not only sweet and appropriate, he played 'a game' with the slightly older of the two.  The little girl stood beside me, I threw a roller and both puppy and child chased it - she ran after him to 'help him get it'.  Then he got it, whipped around and ran PAST THE CHILD to bring the toy all the way back to me.  This is delightful.  He loves kids, but his focus is there.

2-) this is a little less action oriented, but there is a lady (and god help me I don't know her name) who comes to our trial with her working BC.  She is seriously into working BC, I believe she (herding) trials, definitely owns sheep and the dogs work them.  Also does obedience and agility is where her dogs blow off steam.  Definitely working BC, obviously, and I adore her dogs.   ...she loved, and I do mean LOVED Kiran.    Found him cute, but also liked structure and his temperament - and the balance and stability and intelligence and focus.   Totally made my day.   That's a HIGH compliment from someone with HIGH standards that I really admire, you know?

There is nothing nicer than getting a compliment on your dog from someone who REALLY KNOWS what they are talking about, particularly when it is not based solely on looks.

Kiran seems to be a really special boy, and I am so glad the two of you found each other.

It is a little bit thrilling.

Truthfully almost everyone adores him - except my husband, who is somewhere between offended and having his feelings hurt, but hey. Can't have everything :P

Kylie is almost Kiran's Mini Me. Never  noticed it before.

To be honest, I've only noticed fairly recently.   I mean, clearly I was aware they were both creeping tan/tri, but I hadn't really paid attention.   It's very, very similar though, especially as Kiran's tail and 'pants' continue to foof out.

8 months old in a few days.    Ideally (if I can grab a spot in time - super high demand) starting foundations agility classes in the next month or so.   My puppy's turned into a baby-brained dog.

Just got a picture of one of Kiran's brothers.

They are definitely related.

And you can definitely tell who got the ACD head.

They are both very handsome dogs, but I do prefer Kiran.

Good luck with getting into the agility foundations course, I am sure he will do well!

Yeah. I mean I'm clearly biased but I much prefer his build and looks.  And, well, him in general.

Who has the ACD head? From the pics they look a lot the same to me. :P

Both are stunning dogs.

Miiiight be angle of the photo or just me knowing what Kiran looks like but his brother looks like he's got a squarer-stockier head.

But they are both definitely neat.

Okay, the more I look at that picture the more I decide my 'this is different' is about 95% 'I JUST LIKE MY DOG MORE' :P  Stupid, stupid close, but hey - consistency!

Someone probably needs to smack me in the back of the head and tell me to stop waiting for Kiran's temperament to go to hell.   I mean it's sort of nice being continually amazed by him, but it's also kind of ridiculous at this point.   Not that it's not going to change from puppy but at this point I think it safe to say he's not going to turn into a wreck.

First bit of snow.  He was completely offended by snow sticking to his ball.

He's kind of ridiculous, but he's a really good boy.
