Sorienew
Anyone suggest a good web sight for this or have any suggestions. Birdie is 12 now and is having issues with her hips. She's had it for yrs. Vet did put her on Vetprofen it does help. I was just hoping I could help her more w/o giving more meds. Hope all of you are having a nice holiday. Thank you! Bordercentrics
You could try hydrotherapy. That is what we do for Ben, who has dysplastic hips and elbows. Other than taking MSM/Chondroitin supplements, this is all we do and Ben is doing very well. He is now 8 1/2 and has been dysplastic for as long as we have had him at age 18 pos., so he was probably born that way. alligande
My older dog has hip dispylasia in one hip and has been transformed working with a phsyio, my goals are different to yours which is to keep my dog fit to compete in agility but my physio works with a lot of older dogs and their quality of life is usually improved with increased mobility.
