I only caught the last bit of the programme when it was on TV and meant to watch it on catch up but never got round to it. It's a pity that One Man and His Dog is no longer a stand alone series in the UK as it did such a great job of interesting the public in the work but the subject fits quite neatly into the remit of Countryfile which is a regular Sunday evening show dealing with all aspects of farming and the country.
